Ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic rhinitis model

Background
The development of allergic rhinitis in mice involves the initiation of adaptive immune responses by antigen-presenting cells after uptake of allergen information. With the assistance of adjuvants, intraperitoneal injection of OVA can induce systemic sensitization in mice, followed by intranasal allergen challenge to trigger local allergic inflammation.
Materials and methods
BALB/c mice (male or female, 6–8 weeks old)
Modeling method: The allergic rhinitis model was successfully established by sensitization with OVA via intraperitoneal injection, followed by intranasal challenge with OVA.
Positive drug: Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray
Evaluation indicators: positive rate of behavior, ELISA, HE staining
Test and verify

Positive rate of behavior and ELISA

HE staining of nasal mucosa tissue
