Acute gastritis model induced by intragastric administration of ethanol
Acute gastritis model induced by intragastric administration of ethanol
Background
The stomach is one of the important visceral organs. Gastritis and gastric ulcer have long been clinical issues affecting people\'s health. Therefore, studying the protective mechanisms of the gastric mucosa carries important theoretical significance and clinical value. Alcohol-induced gastric mucosal injury is a complex and multifaceted process. Alcohol is lipophilic and lipolytic, so high-concentration alcohol can directly destroy the gastric mucosal barrier, causing acute inflammation of the gastric mucosa, accompanied by mucosal hyperemia, edema, erosion and ulcer formation.
Materials and methods
Wistar rats (male, weighing 250–300 g)
Modeling method: The model was successfully established 1 hour after intragastric administration of 95% ethanol.
Evaluation indicators: gross observation, serum ELISA assay, HE staining
