DNFB‑induced atopic dermatitis model
DNFB‑induced atopic dermatitis model
Background
Allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) is a T cell‑mediated delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction.
After allergens enter the body, antigen-presenting cells (APCs), such as skin Langerhans cells (LCs), mucosal macrophages, and dendritic cells, present antigens to T cells, thereby sensitizing the body and triggering an allergic reaction.
Materials and methods
SD rats (male and female, 6–8 weeks old)
Modeling method: After sensitization on the back, elicitation was performed on both ears. The atopic dermatitis model was successfully established after 21 days.
Positive drug: Dexamethasone Acetate Cream
Evaluation indicators: General observation, ear weight and thickness measurement, HE staining
