Ethanol-induced thin endometrium model
Ethanol-induced thin endometrium model
Background
This modeling method achieves chemical injury to the rat endometrium using 95% ethanol, mainly utilizing the dehydration effect of absolute ethanol on tissues and cells, as well as its ability to denature proteins. This modeling method is economical, has a short modeling time and stable model, and is quite suitable for establishing thin endometrium animal models used in the exploration of drug efficacy and related mechanisms.
Materials and methods
SD rats (female, 8 weeks old)
Modeling method: 95% ethanol solution was perfused into the uterine horns, and the thin endometrium model was successfully established at the third estrous cycle.
Evaluation index: HE staining
