Cervicitis model induced by phenol mucilage
Cervicitis model induced by phenol mucilage
Background
The phenol mucilage method is a chemical burn method. Inflammation is induced by applying phenol mucilage to specific sites to cause burns, resulting in inflammatory reactions and mucosal adhesions.
This method has the advantages of a short modeling period and relative simplicity.
Materials and methods
SD rats (female, 6–8 weeks old)
Modeling method: Phenol mucilage was perfused into the vagina once every 2 days for 3 consecutive times to successfully establish a cervicitis model.
Evaluation indicators: vulvar inflammation score, ELISA assay, HE staining
