Nylon Brush-Induced Tracheal Stenosis Model
Nylon Brush-Induced Tracheal Stenosis Model
Background
Tracheal stenosis is a deformity and narrowing of the tracheal lumen caused by damage or loss of the soft tissue and cartilaginous framework of the laryngotracheal region. It can be classified as congenital or acquired. The most common causes of acquired laryngotracheal stenosis are trauma, iatrogenic injury, and benign or malignant tumors of the laryngotracheal region. The underlying pathological mechanism primarily involves trauma, surgical procedures, or intubation causing damage to the trach
